What is it to be a photographer and why do you think Dock Street Studio is the perfect place for any of your clients?
I think a photographer, specifically a headshot and commercial photographer, it’s more about being a problem solver, a set designer, a visionary, but also somebody who wants to create the absolute best products for the clients. So, just to make the product leap off the shelf, sort of speak, or if it’s a headshot just get the absolute best angle that you can for that person. So, I tend to work quite hard on trying to vision how the final products are going to look – whether it’s their headshot and just really put hard work into getting the best angle, putting the person at ease, and within product photography to make the products look the best as possible. I think one of my key areas is lighting such as if I can light something and make it beautiful and straight into the camera, then that gives me a bit more bandwidth to get even more mileage, and so forth. But I tend to spend a lot of time on lighting and creating the best image that I can, straight from out of the camera, then give an extra uplift in post-production.

It’s in the middle of train links and great for modelling agencies and casting and creatives travelling between those core cities.
